John Kennedy’s client was a teacher’s retirement fund. They wanted to sell one of the three properties they owned in the area. The property was under performing and did not have a promising story to tell potential buyers. However, a client looking to make a first purchase in Portland, liked the property and decided to proceed after reviewing the market with us. We helped the buyer align with the right due diligence team to ensure the client was comfortable making the large acquisition in a new market. The sale closed and we have completed additional transactions with the client.
