John Kennedy was exclusively hired by the pension fund owner to establish value ($15 million) and market for sale the property, which consisted of retail, offices and apartments. Additionally, the property had redevelopment potential of a large surface parking lot, which John highlighted to increase buyer’s overall interest and valuation. The property’s superb location at NW 23rd & West Burnside allowed us to execute bid format where buyers were required to submit bids on a specific date. The owner reviewed the bids procured and then we selected the top buyers to achieve the best price and terms in a final round of negotiations.
